FEEDING DIRECTIONS
Feed at a rate of 0.3-1.2 lbs of feed per 100 lbs of body weight per day depending on body condition, work intensity and forage quality and availability. It is not recommended to feed more than 5 lbs of grain in a single feeding. Grain intake exceeding 5 lbs/horse/day should be divided into multiple feedings (Ex. morning, noon and evening feedings). All horses should receive a minimum of 1% of body weight as good quality forage (pasture or alfalfa hay) daily along with free choice access to salt and water.
